..A true leader..

For the first time in six years she was not chosen to be a part of the leadership squad.
Since class 5 , whenever it was possible she grabbed the opportunity to be at the top!
"Oh! You know her! Wow!"
"What a god-gifted child na.."
These were some of the comments which poured in when she walked up and down the school building all day long. Sometimes it was for a competition and many a times for co-ordination of various activities.
But this year ?
"Isnt this the first time you are losing the elections ?"
"Wasnt your name nominated by the teachers ?"
A series of questions flashed when not she but somebody else was chosen to be the leader.
It was because she was not eligible. Even if she would have been, she was getting intuitions that the KNOWLEDGE-IMPLEMENTING phase was drawing near :)
And that happened..
Her votes were cancelled out after all ! Though she strongly believed in giving chance to others, cancelling the votes was a humiliation for her.
"umm..Actually, I backed out you see..", she remarked when made to calm people's amazement.
But, as one cannot hide the truth from oneself, something kept popping up in her. An urge to look at the knowledge behind it.For all that happens , happens for good.
Hiding her face, this ambitious girl reached home and went straight to the altar.Bowed down but was still unhappy with this situation.
Discussing this incident with a friend sometime later, the friend made a point.
"I am so happy for you.",said he.
"Happy ? But why ?"
"For you realised this thing so early."
??
"...A true leader is one who even not being in chair commands respect. That is where his character comes in light."
!
[ For example, an IAS officer who is proudy and rude would be obeyed only in his office. But as soon as he steps out, he is not even looked at by people. On the other hand,an IAS officer who is kind hearted is obeyed everywhere. He commands and not demands respect as in the former case. ]

And so ready to take the responsibility, shedding tears of gratitude, she crossed another hurdle in life !

Jai Gurudeva !

P.S. You want to know who this girl is ??

love
