Back : Just to go forward!

Hey!Guyzzzz...
Its been seven weeks since I last posted something for you!
Arghhh.. Pretty long indeed :)

Let me tell you something very interesting..

You all know about 'Speaking Tree'?
Its a regular spiritual column featured in the Times of India.'Speaking Tree' is also a book under Times Publication which brings together some incredible views from inspirational personalities of almost all the religions.

On the day of Holi this year, it carried Guruji's view on the similarities between the festival of Holi and our lives :)

I freely quote what He said :)

At home, you have to be a daughter/son/father/wife.
At work you have to be a good officr/businessman/student (in our case).
In society, you have to be a good citizen..
And so on and so forh.

When sll the colours mix up, what is the ultimate colour ?
Black!
Similarly, when all the roles in life mix up your growth in life comes to a still.
That is it! There you fall!

And so it remains highly highly important to balance the bicycle of life. Its only then that the (beautiful) colours in life show their beauty :)

So, from the 28th day of June, my life ( and this blog ) is going to be about everything..and not just some things :) Howzzaat!

Jai Gurudeva!

Me..?? Outstanding :-)

When we look around ourselves, we find some people who are extraordinary. These are the personalities who inspire us to be different(atleast me!).Looking at their achievements all you can do is sit with an open mouth :)
They stand where they are today because:

1.They were committed and chose truth and service before pleasure.(read the previous post on commitment for more)

2.They woke up early in the morning and were not lazy bums like us :) shoi agar bura laga toh! :)

3.They chose their path in life and had clear aims.

4.They had the 'utsah' to accomplish their aims and were optimistics.

5.They had all the luck in the world and God's blessings.

Now, we all have one thing in common.
Point no. 5 :P
The rest of them you got to make for yourself :)

P.S. You can add some points of your own here.

Balance the bicycle of life...

"Nahi yaar, course pe jaana hai."
"Nope, sorry! Got a voulnteers' meeting today!"
"Yaar..Ashram this time.."
"Umm..Nahi..AOL friends would be more fun."

NO! NO! NO!
No to all proposals from non-AOL friends for a party, for a get together, for an outing...wont do you any good.Believe me!
I have experienced that!

But ask yourself,
Why are you being polished here ?
Why are you being made strong ?
To stay in the mine ?? To stay around here itself and do the world no good ?

Long time back , Guru Nanak Ji went to a village. He saw a huge number of people there who were all negative in their approach. Big time pessimists.Guru Nanak ji advised them to always stay together, work together. They were very happy at this :)
He then moved on and went to another village. There he saw another big group of people who were all very very optimistic people. All they did was good work.Guru Nank Ji's advise to them ? "Spread!" Listening to this the wise men were very unhappy and demamnded for an explanation.Guru Nanak Ji said,"When the pessimists would stick together, they would not spread their negativity but you all need to do that.Spread far and wide your positive energy."

And that is a message we have to take!

We have to learn to learn and teach to teach :)

And slowly and slowly heal the world! :)
